DataNOW® Affinity is a multi-faceted integration tool that helps you quickly incorporate Laserfiche® document imaging functionality into virtually any application. This is known as image-enabling an application. Within minutes, you can be scanning and retrieving documents from within the applications you use most.
Affinity uses the credentials of the currently logged-in user to perform all entry and retrieval operations. This means that all security and auditing functions are enforced and consistent; just as if the user were performing the same operations directly from the Laserfiche client.
Affinity includes a COM object that exposes a safe and powerful programming interface that can be used to image-enable web applications, GIS user interfaces, and any other program that supports ActiveX or COM.

Affinity can be configured to automatically capture text from most Windows® GUI data-entry screens. Affinity uses these values find documents, or to populate template fields and generate entry names. This is by far the simplest and quickest method to image-enable your applications. Integrating your application is reduced to a simple point-and-click operation.
